Yuki's at the Blacksmiths Workshop

Not every mission is a glamours exercise in world changing events, not even really a mission at all save for the payment structure leaf uses. So too has Yuki found her assigned to assist in the blacksmiths shop in tool construction. Reading an informational pamphlet or two on the way.
Yuki's job was set to toil upon the creation of kunai, meeting with the smith who merely gave out a long list of things for her to make without a word, and moving in to work in the shop.
A thousand kunai was her mission. Taking out some very old looking block molds from where she was set to work, with iron forging no less, she'd stare at the odd set of tools for metal forging, there were only five molds to interlock in a set. Yuki thought it would be better if she didn't know math, assuming she made five at a time without a failure rate it would take her two hundred runs to make the weapons. Watching other workers and how they did it seemed to be a similar method across the board, fixing the molds, filling hte molds under a molten vat with tongues and dumping the molds to be flash cooled in water. Finally the sharpening.
Kunai primairly were tools used as working implements and the smiths of konoha didn't make them any more special, cheap and easy to mass produce. Used for anything from tools to pitons for climbing, to throwing weapons. They were generic though and easy to discard "Yes there were ninja, but from where" the ideal weapon hence their wide spread use.
Yuki would lift the heavy mold set up after setting each block mold together move over when its her turn, dunk it and go to sharpening, hours and hours of sharpening with the occasional waiting between... using a sharpening wheel saved time but hers was a bit worn down, as were all the others. She'd toil and toil, looking more and more tired from the heat. A real slog.
Yuki's mind would wander a bit, finding the task utterly was eating at her about a quarter of the way through, on the other end of the smithery more prominent weapons were being forged, katana from folded metal over and over again, specially mixed metals, and even chakra based weapons. She'd find herself staring at those processes more then her own, the endless pounding of metal against metal that clink clink clink with varying rhythms eventually she found different smiths using different patterns for different tools.
A cheater at heart, Yuki would use her sharingan to copy the pattern, she'd never know when she'd need to create tools of her own, when she would endevour to take some craft far further. Her mind wandering, and wondering if there were better ways to perfect this craft, better metals, or even special uses of chakra that could be employed. Did she really have the time though, she was ten after all and super busy, maybe a little reading wouldn't hurt.
Time flew much faster as she focused on the mesmerizing smiths on the other end, she thought it curious how many of them had beards given the tendency for hair to be flammable.
Her 'mission' complete, she'd return for pay having made more then a thousand kunai she even got extra. One of the rare few to do more. She'd soon find herself getting more work orders and being sent to the smiths.

Her next assignment, two thousand shurikens, arriving in for work the next day, she was a bit concerned about the mandatory nature of work order missions! Apparently otherwise they would be shirked! This time however she'd find herself not left on her own as she was the day before, but with the apprentice blacksmith Boris, a man with a stache that went nearly ear to ear with handle bars, orange mottled hair from the smithing work, and a constant layer of soot covering him. "Ello girl" he'd greet her, Yuki would smile of course and retort "Hello I'm Uchiha Yuki pleased to meet you!", she could not turn off her happy greeting mode, she was inwardly horrified at the amount of work she might receive.
Boris continued "Today you'll be covering Shuriken, two thousand may seem like a lot, but these are done as plates" Boris removed one showing it off to Yuki. "You fill it off, level it off when it starts to cool with one of the treated boards here, and you've got yourself twenty shuriken, unfortunately shuriken don't take well to the water shock treatment so you'll have to wait before sharpening can occurt which is done with these files rather then the stone wheels your used to" Boris would go on and on Yuki listening but a bit confused at the special attention, she knew why but this was starting to get ridiculous; he finally finished "Do well and you can do even more advanced work tomorrow".
Yuki thought to herself. "Fuck", yes, she knew all the swear words, her Uchiha pride, could not let her do a poor job on purpose, but with her inability to not seem interested, especially more interested then the other people working in the workshop was destroying her. Eventually though she'd bring over the molds, carefully filling them bleeding them off with tongues and letting the metal set, only to clear off the excess to punch out the shuriken later. Performing diligent work, and finding herself more and more focused on making sure each shuriken 'was perfect'. Especially as several of the senior smiths were watching her like a hawk, several even coming over to give her pointers and train her throughout the day. She was fitting right in, much to her dismay deep inside she knew her nindo would not allow her to be a regular smith, to be a "badass" that was to her ninja way. Badasses don't complain like whiny babies thats what Yuki thought.
She'd make three thousand shuriken before she'd go home that day collecting her pay on the next, too tired and sore from working those little noodle arms of hers.

When she came into the office the next day, yet another work order assignment was waiting for her, but then she noticed, the scroll wasn't E rank anymore it was D. D rank mission pay without the risk, all that was left was to see what the work order was for. Five, ninja mesh outfits, the fishnet style undergarments to reduce clothing friction ninja wore, each of them custom orders. This isn't so bad she thought to herself, these missions were far more consistent then any other, after all there was always more work to do.
That is til she found herself sitting in the back of the shop with Natalia, a seamstress of sorts. A gangly figure with deep sunken eyes, she tamed spiders and they crawled all over her, a spider silk weaver of sorts, and by far the most abnormal looking person in the place. Up until now Yuki hadn't noticed them, or was too creeped out to acknowledge that she did to herself. The weavers explanations, were not done verbally no, the freak woman implanted images into Yuki's eyes from her own perspective working on garments knitting and threading them together endlessly, again and again before finally showing how an outfit was made in front of Yuki.
Yuki's head spinning from the odd use of genjutsu, the weaver Natalia, showed her the working of the various tools and how to make outfits from patterns, creating a base thread and then material at different densities to fulfill the outfit. Disconcertingly she'd note all the orders were for young Kunoichi with notes on how they wanted their outfits especially modified to be "more sexy" from low cuts to split cuts, to abnormal undergarments  to hiding the appearance of scars. Yuki was left wondering, if she too should be wearing sexy ninja mesh, she resolved that it might be something for when shes older.
Eventually Yuki found herself working as a seamstress, sharingan helping of course, she'd not fail to mimic her mentor, adjusting as advice was given, finding herself not talking and odd 'hint's being transplanted into her head as flash images, nerve-wracking really she'd work further and further towards making each outfit, what Yuki did notice however was that she was being quite slow, indeed making perfectly sized brassieres took time, hooks special threading and more. With only three outfits done by sundown, she'd look towards the due date of the work orders, all of them for tomorrow.
Yuki for the first time in her life had to perform an all nighter, wondering if there were child labor laws, then recalling that she could just as well might be sent on missions to kill people the next day and suspecting there wasn't. Yuki had never failed a mission she was in charge of, sure there was that thing with the mail delivery, and sure technically the ANBU did it for her, but it still counts! To be a badass, was her nindo way, and so too would she work through the night even long after the weaver and other workers retired, several of them smiling at her as they left. The fires cooled, to embers she'd work in the red light endlessly stitching.
More and more lingerie, and ninja mesh to match, endless threading she'd start to wear down, stabbing herself with needles several times over, by down there were six more, Yuki barely managing her way through the ninth her fingers and body aching. The weaver made her way in first thing the morning Yuki watching her go through the outfits already made, the spidery woman pulling around Yuki and helping her with the last outfit, an odd bit of sympathy as she guided the poor girls hands much quicker. The work finally finished as a team Yuki would find herself falling asleep in the freaky spider woman's embrace shortly after.
Yuki would wake up surrounded by spiders, covered head to toe, shrieking in horror. Images entering her mind to calm her to save the precious precious spiders, she'd crawl out of there den where she was left to rest with all Natalia's precious pets. More and more images flowing into her mind to calm her she'd dizzily make her way over and out wanting to get away from the mind dabbler!

She'd turn up at the hokages office to collect her pay... another mission waiting for her... Kunai duty, though a second one for more outfits, and more shuriken. would her toil never end? At least they were not all due for the next day. Yuki resolved to pace herself, good work was in high demand apparently her's was of sufficient quality. Boris had mentioned something about different paygrades for smith to her when she asked him, Yuki wondering how far her noodle arms could take her, though with the longer and longer mission due dates, she could at least get back to her other general duties training in the hospital and the like. Never mind the application for the police force waiting on her table. She could not do everything, she knew this, but she could at least work a long stint here in her youth. After all it was not as if she wasn't learning some very interesting skills.
